14th DAY

We're hoping by now, you've memorized the prayer or at least copied it and placed it somewhere in your house where you can see it daily.  One of my favorite places to put prayers is the bathroom mirror, or the fridge.  Now's the time to put your faith into action, to plan to tithe regularly and to monitor any negative thoughts that may come up about money. I'm writing this on Sunday, October 28th, and tomorrow is the Full Moon in Taurus.  The Full Moon is being mentioned in the weather forecasts as the reason why Hurricane Sandy is so strong.  Those of us who study cosmic events already know that the full moons tend to escalate whatever else is going on, i.e. especially our emotions and the weather. 

ARE WE CREATING THIS?

For two days the news has been hyping Hurricane Sandy and telling us to be prepared for blackouts and/or food shortages, or to move if we're evacuated.  Years ago my teacher said something that appeared strange to me (at the time).  She said that the weather is being created by our collective emotions.  I think about that statement whenever there's a hurricane or tornado or flood.  Hurricanes have high winds, and huge rainfalls.  Wind or air represents intellect and communications. Rain or water represents emotions.  Ummm, could it be that on the east coast that is now preparing for the worst case scenario is filled with people who are talking about their fears in an emotional way?  Or could it be that this storm isn't going to be all that they've predicted it to be, and that the early shut downs of transportation and plans to evacuate will not be needed.  Only time will tell. 

                                                                              IS IT THE ELECTION?

 But surely the media has been hyping up the election and giving daily countdowns and the candidates are moving quickly (like the wind) through battleground states to get their messages out.  Folks are angry, folks are arguing and folks are fearful that their candidate isn't going to win.

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS TIME

I've read that ancient African peoples used the energy from Full Moons and New Moons to do rituals.  New Moons were times to plant or to focus on  intentions and Full Moons were times to harvest or reap what was sown.  Also Full Moons were great times to reset the intentions and to tap into the increased emotional energy in positive ways.  This is our time to focus on our prayers and to use our creative imagination to see our wishes fulfilled.  We can use the Full Moon energy to our advantage, but first we have to tune out of the hype.  Well, the predictions what we'll lose power might help, cause what do you do when the power goes out?  For one thing you can't watch television and that may be a good thing (smile). 

FULL MOON IN TAURUS

Taurus the "money" sign, as it rules the 2nd house of Money in the astrology chart. It's also the sign, ruled by Venus that loves and appreciates good fine things.  People born under the sign are known to love fashion, and to carry bags (with all their things in them).  Interesting that the craze for designer pocketbooks has influenced people to pay lots of money to possess them.  But the other side of Taurus is that it's a fixed sign, some say stubborn, and once they focus on something it's hard to change their minds.  We could use some of the fixity of Taurus and focus on what we want and to stay in that mindset, stubbornly refusing to accept the negative energy about not enoughness, lack or limitation.  Keep in mind that what we focus on, what we say and what we think on a consistent basis is what we'll draw into our lives.  So think positive, and say positive money affirmations all day long.  Regardless of what's going on around you, stay in the zone.  Become an honorary Taurus for the day (smile)  Taurus keywords are "I Have".  So thinking "I have everything I need for my work and fulfillment" is a good affirmation or manta.  Another one is "I have so much money and life is wonderful".  Whatever you say behind "I Have" is important, especially during this time when the Full Moon is in Taurus.  Keep the faith.  I have love, I have health, I have wealth and so do you. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: I HAVE FAITH THAT ALL IS WELL IN MY LIFE AND IN MY FINANCES. AND SO IT IS!
