FULL MOON IN VIRGO - THURS. MARCH 8, 2012


TAKE A DEEP BREATH
Even though the actual Full Moon will be on Thursday, March 8th, the Moon and Mars, the action planet will meet up on Wednesday, March 7th.  Right now, Mars is going retrograde in Virgo and it doesn't go direct until April 13th. You might be feeling a little of the Mars retrograde energy right now as things just seem to be blocked or not happening the way we planned. Sometimes situations come up that we thought were over and we have to deal with them in a timely manner.  Mars retrograde in Virgo, the sign of details, paperwork, diet and nutrition has brought to the surface all the areas where we might not have been paying attention. I've heard from people who tell me they are more tired than usual or just sick and tired of being tired.  Then there are the fortunate among us who are sailing through this Mars retrograde period, putting the finishing touches on projects, hearing back from people they've been trying to reach, or just getting back on a nutritious diet and feeling good about it.  To those people I say, "keep up the good work", to the others I say "keep the faith, as this too shall pass".

So whatever you're feeling now, the Full Moon will escalate the energy.  Keep in mind that Full Moons increase the tides in the oceans, and since our bodies are mostly water (75 per cent), when Full Moons come around we feel the effects on the physical level.  Either we're jumping for joy and having a good time, or we're getting into arguments, attracting accidents, or letting our passions rule our rational minds. 

What's good about all of us is of course knowing in advance that the Full Moon and Mars will be connecting on the 7th.  That way you can bypass nny temptation to do something that you might regret later.  You're overall feeling to move past the obstacles or blocks in your way will increase with the energy of the Full Moon on the 8th..
                                                              SUGGESTIONS:


A good way to handle this increase of emotional energy is to monitor your self talk and your real talk.  This might not be the ideal time to get into discussions that you know in advance may be a little confrontational. This is a good two day period to just chill out, rest, relax, or go to the gym to release excess energy in positive and healthy ways.  Take your vitamins, eat healthy, nutritious foods, and try not to focus on what's wrong in your life now.  You can change the subject if your thoughts go to the things that upset your nerves. Vegg out and watch funny movies. Do a laughing meditation...Chopra.Com is offering one on their 21 Day Meditation Challenge.  The laughing meditation is for Day 13, if you're interested.  Only communicate with people who lift your spirits.  If you're that person who is always lifting others, this might be a two day period where you don't pick up the telephone, or open that email.  Keep in mind that lifters need to be lifted sometime. This is a period for all caregivers or lifters to replenish their empty cups.  As my teacher used to say "You can't give from an empty cup".  Whatever it is, it can wait until the weekend, or later. 

Rev. Michael Beckwith is known to stop after making a point and saying "take a breath here".  He intuitively knows that what he just said was mind blowing and that people just needed to breathe it all in.  So I'm following in his footsteps, to tell you "Take a Deep Breath".  It's all good and we'll sail through this period with our minds and bodies in good shape.  We are co-creators of our lives and the planets influence us, but don't control us.  We have the option to use the energies to our benefit or to be used by them.
