THE END OF THE WORLD - DEC.21, 2012

The Mayan Calendar ends on December 21, 2012.  The world did not end, and I never ever thought that it would.  I did have the benefit of good teachers who consistently told me that planet earth would not be destroyed.  What doom and gloomers apparently don't know is the The Mayans and other ancient civilizations believed in cycles or spheres of influence.   the Mayans never predicted the end of the world, just the end of one cycle as we move into another one. 

THE MAYANS AND HINDU BELIEFS COINCIDE

It would appear that the end of the Mayan Calendar and the end of Kali Yuga, one of the 4 ages that Hindus believe in, coincide.  These cycles are approximately 26,000 years and it is believed that we're moving from the Kali Yuga, to the Satya Yuga.  By the way the Kali Yuga is the last of 4 different ages.  If you want to know more Google it.  But my understanding is that the Kali Yuga is a masculine age and that near the end of that age, what's hidden under the surface comes to Light to be cleansed for the next Age. The Satya Yuga, is feminine, more peaceful and works through cooperation and love. 



FOCUS ON LOVE AND PEACE

There is a movement to get millions of people to focus on Love, kindness and Peace from December 20 to 22nd.  I signed up for it because I thought it would be a good idea. The facillators of this 3 days of Love, range from Russell Simmons, Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra to Rev. Michael Beckwith.  Agape International will be holding a live stream of this event on their website. 

BE THE PEACE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD

I don't need to tell you about all of the devastating events in the past year...from wacky weather to serial killings, it would seem that the world has been turned upside down.  We think that's because we're in the shift between ages and that these events can move us towards more love, compassion and empathy for our fellow humans.  Change is inevitable during these times, and we can decide that we're going to make a change for the good, as opposed to hiding under our bed, fearing a negative change. 

MOON IN ARIES ON DECEMBER 21ST

The Moon will be in Aries on the 21st, the date that many are fearing as being the last day on earth.  The positive attributes of Aries, are fearlessness, courage, and personal leadership.  The good news is that we have a choice in how we're going to experience this day.  We can choose to join millions of others in focusing, praying and meditating on peace and love, or we can shrink back in terror of imaginary negative events, that are only in our minds.  The events of the recent past, Hurricane Sandy, the Massacre in Newtown, CT. didn't just suddenly happen, but it was the result of things put in place years ago.  Global Warming has been happening for many years and the intensification of Hurricanes is the result.  The Massacre in Newtown, CT., came about because of the prolifieration of assault weapons and violence in our society.  Assault weapons in the hands of the mentally unstable is a recipe for disaster.  However the response of the people involved in these catastrophic events was love, empathy and a resolve to make a change.  Even though people were suddenly made homeless, the upside is they were thankful for their lives and ability to rebuild.  Many Lightworkers came to their aid and many more gave donations, had concerts and fundraisers to help them through this time.  Also the outpouring of love that came about because of the killings in Newtown, were tremendous, and because of those 26 people (now angels) there will be a change in our gun laws and in the way we treat people who are mentally unstable.  As we stop focusing on the problem and get our individual egos out of the way, the solutions to these problems will be apparent.  Not to minimize the pain and suffering of both groups, but what we do about it really matters.  Some will opt to go on and live their lives or try to live their lives, like nothing happened.  But many more have had their lives changed, their consciousness raised, and hopefully they outnumber the people who need to stay in their comfort zones and do nothing.

The Kali Yuga is ending, the Satya Yuga is beginning.  Light workers are busy and more people are waking up realizing they are indeed Light workers themselves.  It is a good time to be alive.  It is the end of the world as we know it and I'm looking forward to the new world that is being born.  I love you all, Ayesha
