WHITNEY HOUSTON'S COSMIC SIGNATURE

Whitney Houston was born on August 9, 1963, and she left this earth on February 11, 2012.  When I first heard the news of Whitney's passing, I did what most astrologers do when a famous person leaves this plane. I did her Solar Chart, because I don't have her time of birth.

The first thing I saw when looking at Whitney's chart was a tight connection between her Sun, planet of will, and Venus, planet of creativity, both in Leo, the sign that says "I Will". We're told that people born under the sign of Leo were royalty in the past.  Well surely Whitney was regal, with a beautiful voice and a beautiful body.  She will be remembered for the songs she sang, her musical ability, the strength and beauty of her magnificent voice.  Spiritually speaking, Leo's lesson this lifetime is to learn to put their wills in alignment with the will of God.  It's not my will be done, but thy will be done.

The second thing I saw was  her Moon, planet of emotions and Jupiter, planet of expansion, both in Aries the sign that says "I Am.  There two planets are forming a positive aspect (trine) to her two planets in Leo.  Wowee!  It would seem that she inherited her talents and gifts from her mother, (Moon), Cissy Houston who is also a professional singer.  Whitney loved to sing, and for most of her adult years she was compensated for her gifts. She was also known to be a cheerful giver and had a great sense of humor (Jupiter connection).  While Jupiter is perceived as a blessing, helping individuals to land on their feet, Jupiter
has another side in that it can inspire individuals to take big chances, or to ignore obvious warning signs that
tell them they've gone too far.

The third thing that jumped out at me when I looked at Whitney's chart was a powerful square from Neptune to her Sun/Venus.  Neptune is the planet of spirituality. Neptune is also the planet of Divine talents and gifts, the higher octave of Venus.  Individuals with strong Neptune contacts are either complete teetotalers, or they can become addicted to prescribed or illegal drugs.  Neptunians are highly sensitive individuals who often seek an escape from the harsh cruel realities of life.  What am I saying here?  Trying to be respectful to Whitney, because I loved her, but the truth is, it seems she went into a negative Neptune spiral that affected her voice and almost destroyed her career.

OK, so many are blaming Bobby Brown for Whitney's addictions as she seemed to go deeper into escapist
behaviors when they became a couple.  However, the fourth thing I saw in her Solar Chart, was Saturn, planet of discipline and tests in Aquarius, opposing her Sun/Venus in Leo and squaring (intense angle) her Neptune in Scorpio.  I believe in the chart comparison it would show that Whitney's Saturn was on Bobby's
Sun.  Even though Whitney probably loved Bobby, the combination was not a good one. He enabled her and she enabled him.  The best thing that came out of this relationship was a beautiful child, Bobbi Christine.

Yes, sad to say, after looking at Saturn in Aquarius in Whitney's chart, is that she had her demons.  While on stage (Sun/Venus) it seemed as if everything was beautiful and light, that she had it altogether.  But deep down inside, I'm not sure she really believed she was worthy of the love that poured out to her.  Sometimes Saturn oppositions create a low grade depression.  The person when in public is smiling and saying "I'm alright, I'm fine", but inside they might be sad and depressed and listening to an inner critic that says "I'm not good enough".

From our perspective, Whitney had everything to live for, and we were all looking forward to a comeback.
But, apprarently Whitney and God had another idea.  Jupiter in Taurus on the day of her death was forming an intense square to her Sun/Venus in Leo, and opposing her Neptune in Scorpio.  Did she accidentally, go too far?  We won't know the cause of death until the coroner provides the results of tests.

So now Whitney is on the other side, she's shuffled off the mortal coil and moved on, probably to join an angelic choir in heaven.  We give thanks for her life, and all the beautiful music she gave to us.  We're told that when we go to the other side, we're asked only two questions: "who did you love, and who did you help?" I'm sure Whitney was able to answer those questions with confidence.  We will pray for Whitney's
loved ones, they loved her, we loved her. Note to Whitney:  WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU.

  1. Thanks Ayesha for keeping Whitney in human perspective. I tell u oh!! When someone's saturn hits my sun natally i know granddaddy Saturn wants to teach me a lesson. I then ask that it come in a more loving, gentle way. I make a bargain and srnd them off their way.

Whitney's life path was a 9 in numerology and she passed on a 9 day. Her mission on this planet has been completed as she came in on a 9 and left on a 9. We will carry the love lessons she left ... in our hearts!

    1. Wow! hadn't thought about the numbers connection...it's like she came full circle, from 9 to 9. Well she's probably floating around on the other side and wondering why we're making such a fuss about her transition.

    1. Thanks for your support Sonyeah, you've always been there fore me and I appreciate it. Yes, we'll all understand it sooner or later. But, I believe that we can learn from Whitney's life.
In the end she was a single mother with multiple challenges, tired and probably depressed. We reap the benefits of her work, so we're the lucky ones who can listen to her marvelous voice whenever we need to hear it.

  3. Whitney was indeed a beautiful songbird from my hometown, East Orange, NJ. I will always remember when Oprah interviewed her a number of years ago and told her she had "IT". It was the exceptional, extraordinary gift of her voice that most singers do not possess. From the outside, one might wonder how could she squander such a gift/talent, but understanding her astrological chart, she had her personal challenges cut out for her as well as her own lessons to learn in this lifetime germane for her growth. I am so glad she is at peace now and her beautiful music/lyrics will always be cherished and appreciated by those of us who her loved her. Her legacy lives, she was truly one in a million

    1. What I think we can all learn from Whitney is that we truly are spiritual beings having a human experience. That money, fame are temporary and sometimes illusions that prevent us from getting to the real reason of why we are here. I think Whitney was tired and weighed down by responsibilities in keeping everyone else happy and financially supported. With Neptune in the picture, I'm sure that the truth will remain buried for years to come. God Bless her and her family because they all did the best they could do with the consciousness they had.

  4. Thank you for sharing Whitney's Solar Chart with us. Interesting how astrology can be right on about a person. Whitney's Sun/Venus and Moon/Jupiter--WOW! Then I immediately wondered where was her Neptune because it definitely affected her. Her substance abuse masked her pain. Well she has completed her earth experience and now sings with angels. ~Love + Light, RKH

    1. Whitney's Neptune is in Scorpio, squaring her Sun/Venus in Leo, and squaring her Saturn in Aquarius, which opposes her Leo Sun/Venus. We call that a t-square in fixed signs.

  5. Very insightful and well written, Sis. I too have a Sun/Saturn opposition and you really nailed how it feels at times.

    1. Sun/Saturn opposition can create an awareness that helps the individual to rise above obstacles. So it doesn't have to be a "bad" thing. Much depends on how the individual responds to life, their ability to forgive the past, and their ability to learn from the past. Once you've learned the lesson there's the golden opportunity to share what you've learned with others. Consciousness is the difference between those who successfully fly above the radar and those who get stuck in victimhood.

  6. Thanks for this share. I'm just now reading it. I came on here to read your "Trayvon & Aquarius" write-up, and stumbled on this. Speaking of which, did you know that that zimmer-non-man guy is a Libra? Yes, one with an Aries moon.

Oh, by now, I know you know that Nippy was born at 2055 hrs. in Jersey. A Pisces AsC. My heart is still heavy over both matters. At your leisure (or desire) check out "Star Holocaust" on utube. Bro. Polight really shares some deep insights on this account.

    Yes, we'll always love her...that smile...That Smile!
