DAY NINE

WITH GOD AS MY SOURCE, NOTHING AMAZES ME

If someone had told me nine days ago that I would be still finding the time to write these blogs I would have said "you must be dreaming".  Since the beginning of this year my schedule has been very busy and sometimes chaotic.  It seems that interruptions to my schedule was happening on a regular basis.  There has been one emergency after another and it seemed when someone, especially in the family got sick, had an accident or some other unforeseen calamity I'd get a text or email or my phone would ring.  I've heard similar stories from others as this year has flown by in a sorta cosmic hyperspeed.  Thankfully I've been trained to deliberately stop to make the connection with my Higher Self before I took action.  Some call the Higher Self, the Universal Force, God, The Creator, Yahweh, Jehovah. But what ever you call the Divine Energy that controls the motion of the planets and life on this planet, there's always a time to make that connection and to see ourselves at one with it.

WE NEED TO BE ONE WITH THE ONE

Personally, I don't like to argue beliefs or get into discussions with religious fanatics who quote their Holy Book to prove what they believe is true.  One thing we can agree on is that there is a Divine Energy or Force that is inside of us and outside of us, and I don't think it matters to that Force what you call it.  However what this line in the prayer is saying is that when you are connected to God, then nothing should amaze you.  When you are connected with The One all things are possible.

50 CENT HAD IT RIGHT

I saw an interview with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson on OWN tv that was right on the money (pun intended).  He said that when he gets on a plane he prays before they take off.  He said further that he used to pray, then worry every time the plane went through turbulence, but now he doesn't do that anymore. "Don't pray, then worry" was his message.  I think we'd all agree that we're on this 30 day mission for the purpose of balancing our finances.  Some of us are saying the prayer every day and have begun to see results.  While others are saying the prayer and still worrying about their financial situation.  But I agree with 50 Cent.  Don't pray then worry.  When you do that you're sending cross signals to your subconscious mind...'I believe", "I don't believe".  In order for this prayer to work in your favor you have to be singleminded in your beliefs.  You have to believe that something amazing can happen for you. You have to believe that abundance is possible for you.  You have to believe that you dwell in the midst of Infinite abundance and that the abundance of God is your Infinite Source.

PROOF IN THE PUDDING

The state of your finances right now is the example of your belief.  Or as my teacher would say "The proof is in the pudding".  If you're broke and worried about money then you're not following the spiritual laws about money.  You can play victim if you want to, or you can blame it on Obama (smile).  But if you want to change your finances you're going to have to change your thinking and change what you're saying about money, or other people's money.  Your relationship with money has to change if you want to attract more money.  Every rich person I know has a good relationship with his or her money.  Even when they lose a job, or their finances are low, they have this belief that it will soon right itself, that they'll get another job, or they will pull out of the temporary situation that they're in.  I used to envy rich people because it seemed they must be living under a lucky star.  That was before I became an astrologer and realized there is no such thing as a "lucky star".  There is no sign in the Zodiac that is destined to be rich.  It seems that the cosmos is an equal opportunity provider, and that people who are rich are operating under the same spiritual laws as you and I.  I'm not saying that all rich people have good intentions, because surely some of them have done things to get money that they'll have to pay for in the end.  However there are rich people who are living in accordance with spiritual laws and they are enjoying a life of financial freedom.  Spiritually speaking when you and I have abundance, everyone around us will benefit.  Raising our level of prosperity means that we're able to help spread the joy around, and the energy of prosperity and abundance moves out into the world.  It is our spiritual duty to be prosperous.  Hang in there and keep the faith.  Meditate with us at 8:00pm and use your active imagination to "see" in your minds eye, abundance, prosperity and the numbers going up in your bank account.
Thought for the day:  GOD IS THE SOURCE OF MY SUPPLY!

DAY EIGHT

NOTHING IS TOO WONDERFUL TO HAPPEN

We've been at this for 8 days now, and nothing is too wonderful to happen.  When I was asked to do this, I prayed that the time would open up for me to do it.  We're told that new habits can be started if we do the activity for at least 21 days.  So hang in there as we intend to do this for 30 days.  What we're trying to do is to remove the blocks that may be affecting the flow of money.  We were taught that if there is lack and limitation anywhere in our life, that we are subconsciously causing it.  We're not into blaming or shaming ourselves or others because as the saying goes "If you knew better you'd do better", and "nothing is too wonderful to happen".

LET YOUR IMAGINATION SOAR

Besides changing our thoughts and words, we must change the images in our minds.
The last two words of the prayer "Nothing is too good to be true" and "nothing is too wonderful to happen" encourages us to let our imagination soar.  What is the dream that you have for yourself in regard to finances.  We often hear that having enough money gives us the freedom to do what we want to do, when we want to do it.  Financial freedom also means being able to help someone in our lives when it's needed.  Financial teachers and gurus tell us that we're meant to be financially successful and when we are we can be more useful to God.  I just received an email
from the mind movies people and this was at the beginning of the text:

"It's a funny thing about life; if you refuse to accept

anything but the best, you very often get it."

–William Somerset Maugham   The email goes on to say that "no pain, no gain" is a limiting belief.  They make it sound easy by further telling us that if our mind can perceive it (or imagine it) we can achieve it.  That attracting money and financial freedom should be effortless.  If you're having trouble believing it then check your core beliefs and the stories from your past.  What are you holding on to that keeps you stuck in lack or limitation?  Do you really believe that "nothing is too wonderful to happen?"  If this is true, the sky is the limit and you can effortlessly move beyond your present circumstances and begin to live a life of financial freedom.  If you truly believe that "nothing is too wonderful to happen", then you should be joyful as your deepest desires begin to manifest.  It's not about struggling or approaching this concept with clenched fists or tight jaws. Just let your imagination take you to where you want to be.  Case in point:   Two years ago as I was shoveling snow from my walk, the idea came to me that the next year I would love to be on a cruise to the Carribean Islands.  Thinking about warm weather, palm trees and pristine blue waters helped to make the shoveling easier.  I changed my energy by thinking and imagining that I was on a cruise ship with a balcony watching the sun come up and the sun go down.  You might say that I was day dreaming, an activity that I used to be scolded for by my elementary teachers.  But the following year I was gifted with a trip to Grenada by a group of loving people who asked me to teach workshops on board ship and another one in Grenada.  As I was preparing to go to the airport that following year, I remembered the temporary daydream I had while shoveling snow.  My "daydream" had come true.  My payment for conducting the workshops was the free trip.  Now I'm realizing that where I need to work is to collapse the time in between the fantasy and the reality.  I realize that when I focused on the day dream I had sad to myself "next year when it snows", and the subconscious mind heard me.  I also realized that in the past when I heard miracle stories like the one I was experiencing, I would inwardly say to myself "these things never happen to me" or "I wonder if that person is embellishing the truth".  The non belief that miracles could happen for me was removed when I demonstrated a wonderful vacation with ease.
NOWS THE TIME TO GET BUSY

Nows the time to get busy, use your imagination to "see" in your minds eye the wonderful things that you want in your life.  Have fun with it and try not to put the delay in it ("in two years).  How about just allowing it to happen at the right time and forget about linear time.  There should be no struggle when you're day dreaming about your life.  Remember when you were a child and day dreaming was fun and enjoyable?  Well that's the energy that you need to put into this project.  "Nothing is too wonderful to happen".  Keep this line of the prayer in your mind all day.  Even if you feel stuck in a meaningless job, or stuck in a financial situation that seems to be keeping you worried and depressed.  Know that it is possible to rise above your present situation, and eliminate the negative thoughts that say it isn't true.  Nothing is too wonderful to happen. Believe it, conceive it and open up to receive it.
Thought for the day "The sky is the limit"  Meditate with us at 8:00pm, but keep memorizing and saying the prayer endlessly.

DAY SEVEN

NOTHING IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

This a good statement to clear out negative ideas in our minds.  The reverse idea is something I've heard from others, "nothing good ever happens for me", or worse, I hear this one from people when they're gambling or buying a lottery ticket, "I never win anything".  Well, if you think that and believe it, the universe will return it to you with the same force that you used when you sent it out.  I even hear people saying these negative statements after winning a prize "I never win anything".  I had a friend who won the lottery so many times that he was hired by the lottery corporation to do a newsletter on winning.  This man said to me one day that when you buy a lottery ticket you should be in a positive mind set and say to yourself "I always win" or we should imagine what we'll do with the money when we win.  He further advised that we should only play the lottery on days when we're feeling up beat and positive.

THINK BACK TO YOUR PAST

Many of our preconceived notions were set into our subconscious minds when we were too young to do anything about it.  While this is not about winning the big prize in the lottery, we would do ourselves a favor to go back into our past to discover the blocks that keep us from attracting something good in our lives.  When I was growing up my grandmother, who was a very religious person used to have a negative attitude about people who gambled.  That created a situation where my grandfather would sneak to play the numbers.  He would give my older sister the numbers to play and the money and they kept that arrangement until he died.  My grandmother was a very frugal Taurus woman who had three secret bank accounts that my grandfather knew nothing about.  She would give me money to put in one of the accounts and whisper to me "don't tell anyone, especially your grandfather".  Therefore I grew up in an atmosphere where lies and deceit took place around money.  My visions of the future were tainted with judgments about gambling and secrets around saving money.

FREE YOUR MIND, FREE YOUR LIFE

As an adult I attended many workshops designed to help me live my best life.  In most of them we had to do the forgiveness work based on the negative blocks that we experienced in childhood.  With the help of life coaches and teachers I was able to remember how my present attitude about money was affecting me now.  That required me to call specific people into my mind and say "I forgive you, I release you, I set you free".  In various sessions I recalled hearing my grandmother say "I have to rob Peter to pay Paul".  or "money doesn't grow on trees", or "rich people are selfish and greedy".  These ideas set me up to think that money was scarce, there was never enough to go around and I didn't want to be rich because rich people were no good.
So I lived a life where I existed from paycheck to paycheck and never even thought that one day I'd have more than enough money to fufill my needs and wants.  But one good thing was I eventually began to understand that if I could free my mind I could change my financial situation.

BECAUSE, THERE'S NOTHING TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

If you are struggling with a money issue, take some time out to go back to your past and see if you can locate where the attitude of lack and limitation started.  Then forgive all the people involved, i.e. early caregivers, loved ones who didn't know any better.  Realize that these people never meant to harm you.  If they knew better they would have done better.  We don't need to get into blaming or shaming others, but we do need to take responsibility for our financial situation, right here, right now.  Memorize the prayer and say it like you mean it and believe it.  If you're willing to take the time to do the "work" you'll soon realize that "nothing is too good to be true".  "Open your mind to receive your good", because God blesses you and me in myriad ways.  Join us in group meditation at 8:00pm tonight...there is power in the group.
